Alien Brains were founded by Nigel Jacklin in 1979. Jacklin was the schoolboy that
organized the infamous Throbbing Gristle concert at his school in 1980.
Primarily a solo project, Alien Brains included, at one time or another, Richard
Rupenus (The New Blockaders), David Jackman (Scratch Orchestra / Organum), Philip
Sanderson (Storm Bugs), Mark Lancaster (Instant Automatons), Allen Adams (The Blanks
